2021 front diff pinion question

Have a 2019 Kodi that has developed the somewhat common pinion seal leak. It has been my experience that beside the seal the coupler will need to be replaced or I will need a Speedi-Sleeve to fix the issue. The sleeves are half the price of the coupler.

So my question is because the coupler on the Kodi is different from the Grizzlies and I don't have a caliper here to measure it.
Does anyone know the diameter where the seal contacts the diff side coupler? I need this measurement to order the Speedi-sleeve.

I have owned 3 Kodi's since 2016 but frequent Grizzly Central forum as I started there many years ago.

Thanks for any help.

Hey @Vincent....Joined this forum in 2017 but I guess I'm a creature of habit.
I do favor the Kodi over the New Gen Grizzlies I like the smaller stance of the Kodi it is same stance as my 2013 Griz. I did have good luck with the 708 and I didn't mind the the manual 4wd shifting and hardly ever need dif lock. Although I am riding a 21 Griz SE now. I've only been riding it in the high desert without width issues will see when I get back on the 50" trails. It does have push issues in the corners. Getting rid of the Zilla should help.

I'll try to check in more often.

The best thing to break that red is heat, you don't need a lot of it but a short while even with a propane torch will allow you to get it off.

On a side note, a friend had a starter on his truck where the bolts kept on backing out. He got tired of tightening them so he used a tube of red loctite on each bolt when he put them back in. He then called me when he couldn't get the bolts out to replace the starter. I snapped one of the bolt heads before he told me about the loctite on it. The second one came out fairly easy after I heated it up some. I then thought that we were going to have to drill the broken bolt, happily a piece of it was sticking out far enough to get a pair of vice grips on it and with a little heat it came right out.

I educated him about blue and red locktite that day.

I'm not sure if heat could have been used inside the coupling. Didn't know it was red until I got it off. I was able to strong arm it off with a breaker bar. Had put a couple mounting bolts back in to hold the diff. Hardest part was holding the coupling as I don't have the special tool to hold it just a BA pipe wrench and locking the brakes. I'd foresee this being the last pinion seal I ever replace so I going to look or make a tool to hold the coupling
This is the 4th seal on 4 different machines I've replaced over the years. First with red on it.
