When the winter comes and the snow starts piling up on your yard, driveway, or private road, it is time to get your quad or side-by-side from the garage and clean your way back to civilization. You can easily do it using a snow plow set. It consists of a mounting plate, push tubes, blade-raising mechanism, and a plow blade itself. Depending on the model of your vehicle and the engine displacement, you can choose between simple straight, slanted, and V-shaped blades made of durable steel.

A raising and lowering mechanism may be manual, winch-actuated, or hydraulic. We recommend an electric winch lift since you can use the winch all-year-round for getting yourself out of trouble or pulling some weights using snatch blocks. A center-mounted construction offers greater rigidity to the vehicle’s frame during plowing operations, but it reduces ground clearance, so you may want to take it off for the summer. Tire chains will ensure enough traction in extremely slippery conditions.
