I just purchased a 2016 Kodiak 700 with little previous use. It has sat in my garage for 5 weeks. Just went to start it and it made a "clicking" noise, with the engine warning light came on. Any suggestions?
Thanks, in advance

Start with the battery and battery connections.

Do you hear the fuel pump in the first few seconds after turning the key on?

Is the kill switch in the off position?

Jim, Thanks for the reply. I took your suggestion, and put a charger on the battery. After a few minutes, it did start. Took it for a spin, turned it off, and it would not start. The pump noise was not always noticeable when trying to start it w/o the charger on. SO, I do think it's the battery. Put the charger on for a few hours last night, but it wouldn't start this AM - though I did hear the pump.
So, I think it's new battery time.
Thanks, again.
Safe riding!
