To start, on top of my list is Yamaha's cargo basket which should be tall enough to secure what I need it for.

Which accessories are you guys getting?

The Gun boot is a biggie, but then again I'm prepared to wait until aftermarket accessories become available. Same product for half the cost or so easily...

Number one for me is a winch.
That is another one I need to add to my list as well!

Does this come with everything needed for installation? I'm looking to purchase a new Kodiak this week. Thanks

the following was mentioned on the page for the product:

Seems as long as you have that, you're in the clear.
You're going to need a Winch mount which is purchased separately but Yamaha does have a Warn set on their site.
By the way, some important points to note from the Warn set listing for those that haven't visited the listing as yet:

Designed to mount up either the Yamaha Pro Vantage 2500 Winch by WARN® or Yamaha Vantage 2000 Winch by WARN®, both sold separately Compatible with both stock and accessory grab bars and skid plates (all sold separately) Includes wiring, plate, handlebar switch, and mounting hardware - See more at: https://www.shopyamaha.com/product/...rn?dealernumber=&ri=true#sthash.pufkifH4.dpuf

I'm most interested in reading your feedback from putting that plow to work, but of course we have quite some time to go before that.

How bad does it snow where you live on average?

Well, having lived in the same town, the snow is wet snow. It snows but then turns to slush or it rains and melts it. Often there is ice.

It's not like the snow build up that we get in the East.

Even though there is less of it, it's kinda harder to deal with.

Correct me or add if you'd like @Fisherhawk
I hate that kind of snow, no fun to bad had in it, also one of the reasons why I like to head up north, at least there you have conditions that are more than ideal to play in.... something i hope we get to see with these Kodiaks, and more of once the time comes around.
Wet snow is a pain to shovel manually so a plow is a must. Can't wait until winter to see how the Kodiak 700 fair against a lot of wet snow.

That along with slush which gets really messy.

Where i live it usually builds up a lot at the end of my driveway so being able to push that away with a plow on the kodiak will help... among other reasons for the plow.
Thats a pretty good list of accessories but I dont think you are done.

Didnt see anything about a clamp on swivel drink holder.....

:)
i got a set of 26' maxxis Zillas on HD alloys , and Warren winch ! thinking about making a snorkle system up threw cubby.. still debating ! anybody create a snorkle for there kodiak??
I've got a rear seat and a trapper box up front from a buddy of mine that used to run them on am old sportsman 500. Looks great on the Kodiak and they let me carry plenty of hear and extra fuel. Got a 3000 lbs winch up front (Warn) and a spare Ranger 3500lbs winch with synthetic in the garage (may eventually install it as a rear winch) Would love a set of warmers for winter and maybe some kind of chainsaw boot that let's me keep my trapper box. Might have to make something.

Otherwise going to throw a small light bar up front and a pair of small floods out back for reverse lights.
