Waiting on new wheels to arrive for the Kodiak 700. I plan to put the tires it came with on the new wheels but I'm looking for some input from those who have been down this road before. Not sure I want to pay someone to change them as they are likely to scratch them up but not sure whats involved in changing them myself. Who has done this themselves and is it something that can be done without a garage full of tire tools???

If you want your wheels to look nice before you mess them up on the trail, I would pay someone if you don't have a machine.

Yea, all you need to change your own ATV tires is a simple tire bead breaker, Harbor Freight has one for $49.99 P.N #92961, I use that one, but all you need is to break the beads and the rest you can do with your hands taking the tire off and back on.

I just had my factory tires removed from the rims and put on the new rims at Discount Tire here in West Michigan. $5 off and $5 on without a single scratch. $40 and its done.
