Nice! do u have heated grips on your 450?
Yamaha for the WIN! and WTF polaris! I feel bad for the owner, that is beyond unfortunate and maybe he will buy a Kodiak now?I went for a ride on Saturday on some tight, muddy trails in the bush. The Kodiak is so nimble compared to most of the other ATV's.
Liking this machine.
On a bummer note for the guy that owned this Polaris; I didn't see it happen but close to where I was.
Two backfires and then a fire. Two of the wheels were melted into puddles.

The sad thing is that it could happen to any of us. All it would take is a gas leak onto a hot engine and the right circumstancesI went for a ride on Saturday on some tight, muddy trails in the bush. The Kodiak is so nimble compared to most of the other ATV's.

Yep. A few have burned up our way. At least you can hop off an ATV. It would be painful to watch your ATV turn to a pile of ashes
Raptor liner. I used the rattle can and not the kit. I have great experience with this as I did my truck bumper. It's touch and looks good. Those racks look great. What bed liner was that? Another thing on my to do list..
Need to love how nimble it is! Perfectly balanced with all the power, size and handling characteristics. Also has anyone seen the 2022 Kodiak in Tactical Black? For the past week I've been putting this Kodiak through a bunch of good work. From making trails, cutting down trees, dragon trees, moving deer stands and building deer stands, this thing has been perfect. I finally hit 100 miles with it and I washed it. After washing it I polished it up with some Marine polish.
I used raptor liner to paint the rack and bumper. Just fixing some scrapes from trail riding. And I was leaving the trailer yesterday, I noticed that my seat had a little scrape on it from one of the deer stands or something I had strapped on the rack. Not wanting to get a hole in it so soon, I picked up a mad dog seat cover today. The seat is plenty comfortable by itself, I just wanted something for protection from things I do or have in my pockets when I sit on it.
Can someone mentioned above, the Kodiak is so nimble. Yesterday I just ran through the trails on my way out and it got me out safely. Another thing is with it being so nimble, things I was able to do, my friend could not on his rubicon. I kept leaving them behind and just having to turn around in one spot took more effort than mine.
Cleaning with acetone and scrape them up clean it again. I plan on doing any epoxy tight finish later on where I will try to strip it down to more of the metal for even better finish. The epoxy bedliners do a little better with protection.@Bream What prep did you do prior to spraying your racks with the Raptor bed liner? My racks have some of the OEM paint that has chipped off and of course a little rust here and there. Obviously I need to address the small rust areas, curious if you did any sort of prep to the OEM rack paint to get the Raptor bed line spray to adhere properly?
How do you think that Raptor liner would work on the plastics? I’ve got some dents and creases in the plastics of one of mine. When the dents get bent back, the plastic looks faded.Cleaning with acetone and scrape them up clean it again. I was for sure I replied to you way back when...
