I rode the Kodiak 700 to the mailbox, also rode it to feed and water a group of replacement heifers.

Picked it up and brought it home yesterday rode around field a couple of times......today looked at it figuring where to mount GPS and if/when to change clutch weights to give it some pick up.

Did you happen to find an ideal spot to mount a GPS or what?

Looking at the right handle bar or really liking a mount on the front rack on the rear slanted bar. Normally carry fuel can or gear bag on front rack. Should be able to angle it back some and being 6'4 I have no problem looking over the handlebars. Saw robval1987's post about the LED light bar, now wondering about adding one of those sometime. Going to WV the end of March so still have some time.....

I'm really liking the idea of having it mounted on the right handle bar when visualizing it, for someone 5'11 like myself with the height it'll be mounted, quick glances will be easy:

That is true and if you have the headlight pod it would block the view, I have the base model with no pod so a little more open view of the front rack.

I took mine through the snow mud,over shrubs between trees with almost no space,through ditches,frozing ponds, through the mud, blazed new trails and she never let me down not even one time! Always had the power to get out lol..

Sry no upgrades yet I'm thinking about the changing the clutch weights though!

I took off a total of 7 warning stickers (not the riveted on warnings) and the big kodiak stickers. New wheels and tires and then went slashing on my lake. We have 18 inches of ice but 8 to 10 inches of snow on top with lots of slush. Otherwise just driving around casually trying to believe in.

Moved my Aux light from rack to handlebars.

Working on figuring out the electrical part.

Installed a Kolpin rifle mount.

Just about to start installing the symtec heat demon dual zone heated grips and thumb warmer. So far I've installed superwinch Terra 25 winch on a warn mount,kimpex outback rear seat,kimpex rear fender guards and pegs, Kolpin universal gunboots bracket . I have the Kolpin gunboots IV and saw boot for said bracket. Tire upgrade next and might add a rear winch at some point.

Completed the heat demon install quite easily and rather quick install. It's the updated clamp on version. Nice upgrade.
