Hello. I'm a newbie with ATVs and have a simple question? Does the engine oil also lubricate the transmission?

Yes it does. The front and rear differentials have separate oil/fluid in them.

This answer is for our Kodiak's. Every machine is different, and I don't want you thinking that this is true for all atv's.
