Suitcase, lol, U Shaped rear cargo

Not to offend anyone, but dont like look of the HUGE U shaped suitcases that utilize the rear rack, so looking for ideas to encompass tools, active tablet, clothing for easy access.

Been using a waterproof soft bag, but with the bungies to hold it tightly to rear rack, difficult to make quick stop access while riding.

Please show me some other options than than the hard case stuff. I ride fast and to the limits. My normal stuff just eats away with the vibration. HnM!!!!

I use the one from Yamaha. Its pretty low profile, 7" deep If I remember correctly on the inside, probably 9-10 inch height over all. You can store more than you think in it.
I have that same one, so far so good, I've had it a couple of years, always keeps things dry.

Good to hear it keeps things dry. Just got it a few weeks ago and haven't been able to get out yet. We got a lot of snow this year so the trails are still too deep to venture out.
The best bag for me is a soft bag and zipper less has two flaps it is dust proof and slightly padded or insulated has a ton of room if had these bags for years and love them. Just google zipperless bags and see what you think. It was said best in a post find what works best for you!
I once walked into a Rocky Mountain ATV warehouse near Payson and had them bring one of each type of rear box and or bag that they had for a ATV out of the back. I unboxed each and every one to see the benefits of one over the other. I was nice and boxed each one back up before leaving. The salesperson asked me if I found one that I liked and I just said no.

It almost seams like those manufacturing these boxes and or bags try to come up with what the consumer wants instead of asking the consumer.

All aluminum - about 10" high and 12" wide, 39" long (fits the rack perfectly on my 450). The handles have springs in them so they don't vibrate. I used a rubber mat on the bottom to stop any vibrations. Around $150 on Amazon
Doesn’t this add a lot of weight even empty?
Nope not at all, it is no heavier then a plastic box. Loaded it maybe 25lbs.

Not sure who was asking about mounting but I used six hockey pucks and silicone between the box and the rack, gave me room for a saw press and makes clean up a bit easier. The pelican case comes with a foam insert that you can cut to custom fit specialty items, cameras, drones, guns etc. that you don’t want bouncing around and getting damaged.

So this is what i went with. It blocks the high beam, but with that Rigid Light, dont need it.

Thru bolted w 1/4 -20 nylocs to front rack from bottom. Its gasketed, vented and orange. Lol.

I did a quick addition to my box today. We are street legal but I wanted a little more noticeable brake and turn signals so I added some to my Alum. box and set it up with a quick detach plug so if I want to take it off I just pull the plug.
