Anyone use the SPOP brand skid plate set that is sold on amazon? Complete set made in Sweden for $460 shipped. I like the Ricochet set on my '05 Kodiak but they cost a lot more.

Actually first time I'm hearing about SPOP and there aren't ant reviews for it, at least not on their site. The Ricochet set is around $550 isn't it? $100 more but at least it's something you have experience with and can trust.

Any skid plate is gonna collect swamp material, I just try to pressure wash most of it out and or pull it out by hand. The ricochet plates mount pretty easily so pulling them off once in awhile is an option. Thanks for the link vladtepes, that's a good deal on the full set. I think that's what I'm ordering.

A normal hose is generally good enough for me with the attachment that lets you control the water stream and pressure. With power washers, you just gotta make sure to be at a distance when hosing off around drub seals, axle seal, any bearings, and grease-able fittings, etc.
