Gentlemen, Is anyone familiar with Bronco adjustable gas shocks for the 700 Kodiak? Are they any good? The seller says the manufacturer states that these shocks will not work on non-eps models. I don't fully understand this. I want to put adj. shocks on my base model Kodiak and I am trying to learn more about these shocks.I would like to find some Yamaha adj. shock take-offs but I haven't had any lock.
Thank you,
George

Well if you look up the shocks on partzilla for an eps modle, it lists them as fitting a non eps 700.
There is no physical reason they won't interchange, the only difference is the base non eps kodiak shocks are not preload adjustable, where the eps shocks are 5 way preload adjustable.

Any more info on these? I put stiffer sidewall tires on my base ‘21 and it rides like a wagon. I wouldn’t mind finding some adjustable shocks for it.

What kind of tire did you go with? I ride fast and like stability in cornering… and we all know these kodiaks body roll over and play dead lol

Check into Highlifter HD springs and see if they make them for your model/year. I put a set of the HL HD springs on my 2014 Grizzly's front shocks for the same reason and it helped. I believe they claim 25% higher spring rate than OEM. Supposedly, EPI also make an aftermarket shock spring as well. The best route would probably be to go with Elka shocks after you speak with someone there to make sure the front spring rate will fit your needs but that is a much more expensive option than just new HD springs.
