It's been just over a year with our new Kodiak 700's. The wife and I really like them a lot. We have about 45 hours on each one.

I often stand up when I ride, for at least the faster parts of the ride. It seems like a natural thing for me to do, especially when I am in the fields and hitting a lot of uneven ground. Does anyone else prefer to stand up when they speed up?

If I am going fast I'll sit down, if I am going slow over uneven terrine I'll usually stand up.

These things are not motorcycles and the stability of them is a lot different. I've know a few riders that have fallen off when going faster than they should over uneven terrine.

I wouldn't say I stand up while clipping along . . . but I will partially stand (getting my butt off the seat, but trying to keep my center of gravity as close to the machine as possible still) while going over uneven ground at speed. If just cruising along quickly I prefer to stay seated to keep the center of gravity as low as possible.
