Hi All,

Newbie tire question here.

I blew a sidewall in the stock tires on my Kodiak 700 last weekend and as I was going to replace them anyways at some point, the time might be right now rather than buying another stock tire... I was looking at going up to 26" vs the stock 25" - and my question is: Will the stock wheels fit the larger tires?

Back would be 26X11-12
Front would be 26X9-12

Any thoughts?

Yes they will without any problems. Most who upgrade tires but keep their stock wheels get 26"x9 and 11" tires

As others stated no problem, we run 26 - 9 & 11 on wife’s kodiak and I run 28 - 10 & 12 width on mine . Now you just have decide on what tire to run.

Thanks all. So far the front runners are Traxion Gripper MAX for all around use.

I bought the same tires from revco and have no regrets. Great tires at a great price and the Kodiak looks that much better now!

This is the 2017 pretty sure its the same as the 2020, these are 26x9-11x12 fir perfect only problem is these tires hit the plow mount but they have big shoulders.

Happy for you, looks great

Tell us why you chose the Gripper Max? Have you thought about trying something different?
It came down to a good review of them on Dirt Trax as a good all around tire, and the cost. I haven't got a ton of experience with ATV tires, so they fit the bill. Will try something different next year, likely, but they seem tough and I've been riding them on some pretty loose and rocky trails. They bite when they have to.
