Hello,

this may sound stupid, but I’m a new atv owner.

from what I understood the rear end of the Kodiak was a limited slip; however, when I turn hard over it doesnt Feel like there is much slip at all (when turning hard over on gravel at very slow speed, there is a noticeable track from the inside rear wheel).

Please educate me...

The rear, end both wheels spin.
Front end, one wheel spin.
Dif lock, four wheel spin.

The rear is a fully locked, spool style differential... No such limited slip feature..

Some may think that it is a limited slip because the rear end fluid needs a friction modifier in it for the wet brake which is located in the front of the rear diff housing.
