Don't think there is a reserve tank or a parking break lol At least didn't notice any on my SE yet.
There is no reserve on the Kodiak. On the SE model when the "E" flashes on your fuel meter indicator refuel ASAP. On the base models there is a fuel level warning light. As for the parking brake, there is none on the Kodiaks. When you shift to park, your rear wheels are locked in the transmission, just like any auto transmission on a car.
Thank You Appreciate it VERY MUCH
I just saw in the manual pg 4-20 that there is an 18L capacity and a 4 L reserve. I wasn't sure what that meant and wonder if it is just advertising speak for an 18L tank with 4 L unusable? Anyone know?
That manual was why I asked the question in the first place?????LOL

In theory when you are at that 4 L level your fuel warning light turns on so you have time to refuel before running out. If you continue riding it will suck that tank dry. As with any fuel injected machine you want to avoid running the fuel pump dry.
I have run about 1.5 hours on trails with the light on and did not run it empty.
