Just picked up my new Kodiak yesterday and love it. I think I found what have been looking for a simple, durable machine. Did not want too many bells and whistles I think that is just more expensive parts to have trouble with later. That being said my machine is a basic model and has no speedometer. I had the dealer install an hour meter in the glove box so I can tract hours for maintenance. My next step is upgrading the racks to carry chainsaw, fencing gear and ice fishing stuff. Anyone have any info on where to find racks. Dealer said machine too new he did not offer anything yet. Thanks

Hello everyone. I just bought a new 2016 Kodiak 700, my first quad.

Bought it as a work machine but finding it hard to get off of once I'm riding. Love it.

Can anyone tell me what the MPG is? Or how many miles per tank it gets?

My mileage... I have a new SE. Already down 2 bars and have only gone 12 miles. 3.7 hrs. All driving in snow between 5 -15 mph. High rpms at times. Plus lots of idleing allowing to warm up. What gives?
Dealer said it was full when I got it. Showed three bars when I got it home.
