Hey all,
Just wanted to start with the fact that I DONT have a Kodiak yet although i'm about 95% sure that's what I'm getting. id use the machine mostly for trails riding/hunting. done a lot of research and I'm little torn between the grizzly and the Kodiak but even though the machine leans more towards utility than sport it seems like it will do both well. looking for any opinions/experience regarding mud/trail performance and take off speed vs the 2014 grizzly. thanks!

Welcome to the forum, I think you will happier with the new Kodiak in comparison to the 14 grizzly. Not as snappy on the takeoff but not lacking. Seems to be more stable on steep inclines as well, which was the major reason why I waited and even almost switched to Can-Am until this unit came out. Have used a grizzly allot and great machine but steep incline was a red flag for me on the grizzly.

well I looked into prices up here and the Kodiak coming in around 8899 beats the 2014 grizzly still by a little less than a grand. For those savings I could throw on larger tires and clutch weights if I decided I wanted to really rip. Going with the Kodiak!
