Hello all,

Just purchased a new 2020 Kodiak 450 EPS SE. Have put 225 miles on it already, riding everyday. I live in a rural area so plenty of trails and huge forest near me that caters to ATV's. Just did my first oil change and trying to get familiar with the machine. I was a mechanic for some 40 years so the learning curve should be short. I can't believe how comfortable this thing is! Thinking of another one in the near future as my wife loves to come with me. Hope to learn some things here as I belong to many forums and adding this to my list. Always a good place to learn from others experience!

Welcome to the site.

Most here have the 700's but we have a few members that have the 450 but it is still a Kodiak.

Welcome , wife and I went from 01- 400 & 04- 450 kodiaks to our 700’s. I’ll tell ya that 400 I rode impressed me with some of things I did with it. My sons ride them now and they are a great machine, very capable..

I just joined the forum as well about the same time as you. I have two Yamaha ATVs now and had zero few months ago 2020 Grizz and Kodiak. I went to buy 2020 Kodiak 450 EPS SE and came back with 2020 Kodiak 700 EPS. I test rode both one after another and felt 700 EPS was a much better bang for your buck. Only thing it is missing is a winch in my case I don't really need it. I was able to negotiate them down to the point there was 0 price difference. Sitting position, ride manners and response everything is better on 700 eps. If you go for another one I absolutely recommend 700 eps. Our Kodiak was suppose to be for my daughters or wife to ride with me but I have found myself riding it quite a bit over the 2020 Grizzly XT-R.
