I had a front outside cv joint die at just over a hundred miles.
The boots Yamaha used were firm and plasticy and both fronts were damaged from sticks.
Replaced boots with the good kind on the left side and ordered a set of axles from 8TEN off ebay for a hundred bucks.
One will be a spare.
awesome man thanks for the input I think I'm gonna do that maybe get some heavy duty ones and definitely go lighter on the throttle and see how they hold up. I can't say I was easy on the throttle when I broke it lol and I had it in my head I'm gettin out of this hole on my own lol
Don't be lighter on the throttle!
If the HD ones break then there is a company that makes race axles that are completely rebuildable and will not break...but they are about $725 each axle. Just don't remember their name at this point. I think the price scared it right out of my head!
