Hey, just purchased an new project 2017 kodiak se about two weeks ago. My plans for the bike is 28x12-12 cst wild things on itp ss wheels, grizzly clutch weights, hmf titan Qs exhaust, hmf optimizer, and uni air filter. Not sure about doing an shim mod yet. So far all I have done is put the grizzly weights in the clutch. I did test fit a set of 30x11-14 silverbacks on itp wheels not sure what the back spacing was but they didn't rub anywhere. I'll try and keep an update as this project progress.

Update* so added .7mm shim and purple secondary, grizzly handle bars, hmf optimizer, qs exhaust, uni air filter. Couldn't stand the deceleration popping so I took the exhaust, air filter, and optimizer off. Still had deceleration popping with the stock exhaust but it was quieter. After riding for an while it cut off on me a few times when going from reverse to high, started right up. I had been reading a lot on hear about these bikes running lean so I put just the optimizer on it and played with the settings finally had it set at 2 1.5 1.5 and it run good no popping or cutting off for the first hour -hour and half then started popping again and cut off once at very slow speed got home and the header was glowing red, so I took the optimizer off and sent it to the dealer. They bumped the fuel up 25% on 1/4 throttle. It still has the popping and made it about 10miles and it cut off again. Dealer wants me to bring it back to add another 25% to it. Not sure when I'll be able to take it though they are about 1 1/2 hours away and I have to get up with my uncle to take it. He has the truck....
