Well my next piece of my atv puzzle has shipped today, looking forward to getting the fuel tuners installed on the wife’s and my bears. Next is the 501 diff locks and then the really big ticket item the elka shocks.

Are you getting the electric or the manual diff lock?

I installed the electric one two years ago and while I wasn't in a hurry it took me around 8 hours total. Air tools are nice to have but are not necessary, but breaking the bolts loose in the diff may be a little difficult if you don't have them.

Will be getting manual, I actually like/ don’t mind the manual lever. Very simple. Yes cordless and air impacts etc. are very nice to have . I’ve been a auto tech for 20+years so my home shop is pretty well stocked for tools.

If you haven't seen it yet, Steve has a great video on his web site at 501 Parts where he installs one.

Let us know how the fuel tuners do.
