Do the muffler Silencers hurt the engines on ATV'S?

I have a Benz Silencer on my 2017 Kodiak but keep being told they will hurt the engine and voids warranty. I love the way it quietens my Kodiak though.

Can you get a Yamaha Approved Muffler that reduces sound more than the stock muffler?

I wouldn't use it. These machines have a somewhat restrictive exhaust as it is and the also run lean. I think you're asking for trouble.

I second that. I’m running the 2r tip and yes it makes it louder but it help unlock some of the kodiaks potential

I use mine for hunting a lot and was just seeking some noise reduction.

Is there a better way to do it...or just live with the stock muffler?

I believe hmf makes a quieter muffler. I use my bike for hunting as well and I don't find the stock muffler too loud. A matter of personal taste I guess.
