Definitely a fair question about the dealer. That's actually one of the reasons I chose the Can-Am dealer that I did, being that he is a little over 1 hour away from me further than my local dealer. The dealer I went with has an unbelievable reputation for going above and beyond for his customers. Apparently he did this when he was a sales guy down the street at the Arctic cat dealer that he used to work at . He then moved to the building where he is now and started working as a salesman/ help out in the bay with the techs, and eventually he became partners with the owner of that store. Then 2 years ago he bought out his partner.I have one more question for you. You have been around a long time so I would like your input on how the new dealer treats you compared to Yamaha. When the humidity is high my Yamaha goes into 4-wheel drive no matter the position of the switch, but the dealer looked at it under warranty but would not fix it as it did not do the problem when they looked at it. We all know there is an issue with this, so it should have been covered.
The 1000 or the 850 both can be used in right wooded areas with no issues. It's actually almost the same size as a grizzly.I have rode the 1Ks and they are nice but can't be used in tight wooded trails. Wish you the best of luck with the new 850, yamaha hopefully will get a grizzly 850 soon. By the way, does anyone know why sometimes I put it in low the light won't come on but it engages? Needs any adjustments?
