Looks like I'm selling my Kodiak, few accessories for sale maybe.

Hey guys, looks like that time has come that I'm going to part ways with my 2018 Kodiak 700 SE, and to top that off I'm switching teams to Can-Am. A buddy of mine from work wants to buy my Kodiak. I have a bunch of accessories that we're going to go on the spring, they were supposed to go on last summer/ fall but an injury and recovery kind of limited my mobility. So I haven't done an actual for sale post yet as I'm just trying to gauge interest. Everything that I'm listing is brand new. Never installed with the exception of the rear bumper which I attempted to install but it was too hot that day and we were going for a ride soon.

Front and rear rival bumpers rear will fit a grizzly also , but the front is Kodiak specific.

1.5" & 2" whiskey bent tips 1 spark arrestor

Attitude fuel tuner

slightly used set of 1.5" wheel spacers.

I don't see what year your Kodiak is but that is a problem on 2012-2016 Kodiaks and Grizzly's.

501 Parts has a fix on their page and a link to a TSB in their troubleshooting downloads

Thank you JimP, that is a great help and good info! I love this site, thanks to you and all the others who weigh in.
That canned ham is a nice looking machine! If they weren't 20-30% over msrp here I'd definitely have considered an 850 or 1000. Enjoy all that new power!
I have one more question for you. You have been around a long time so I would like your input on how the new dealer treats you compared to Yamaha. When the humidity is high my Yamaha goes into 4-wheel drive no matter the position of the switch, but the dealer looked at it under warranty but would not fix it as it did not do the problem when they looked at it. We all know there is an issue with this, so it should have been covered.
Definitely a fair question about the dealer. That's actually one of the reasons I chose the Can-Am dealer that I did, being that he is a little over 1 hour away from me further than my local dealer. The dealer I went with has an unbelievable reputation for going above and beyond for his customers. Apparently he did this when he was a sales guy down the street at the Arctic cat dealer that he used to work at . He then moved to the building where he is now and started working as a salesman/ help out in the bay with the techs, and eventually he became partners with the owner of that store. Then 2 years ago he bought out his partner.
He and I had a lengthy discussion about her personal lives while we were waiting for my paperwork to come through as it was a small mistake on it. Regarding the VIN number of my bike. Turns out that one of my buddies that I used to work with a few years ago is one of his really good customers. So I saw the text to my buddy and he highly recommended I buy from this dealer.
The Yamaha dealer that I had in town was really good also. Highly recommended but I rarely went there only a few times when I first got the bike. More to ask questions and to purchase and price some stuff.

Thanks for that info. I feel bad that when a person buys a good machine, the dealer does not work to ensure a happy customer.
I have rode the 1Ks and they are nice but can't be used in tight wooded trails. Wish you the best of luck with the new 850, yamaha hopefully will get a grizzly 850 soon. By the way, does anyone know why sometimes I put it in low the light won't come on but it engages? Needs any adjustments?
Congrats on the 850, by the way do you know why sometimes i put my Kodiak 700 in low range it won't show up on the dash but it engages? Is there something I need to adjust?

The 1000 or the 850 both can be used in right wooded areas with no issues. It's actually almost the same size as a grizzly.
Like any bike, you can go full throttle through the woods, well you can.. But only once. I've been surprised with just how nimble this 850 is on the trails, and it has a better turning radius than my kodiak did, that really surprised me.
As for your shifting issues, sounds like you may need to adjust the linkage just a tiny but. Sounds like it's moving forward enough for physical engagement but the ECM isn't seeing it.
Thank you very much for the updates, I hope to hear more, and let us know how that shifting issue goes.
