It's starting to look more like something that belongs in the wild, not a bad look. I'm sure if you look around for pictures of bugs online it will look like one of them Lol.
Higher output bulbs should solve any concern about light output after the tint.
Muddin, I actually used the VHT NiteShade product. Between wet sanding, 3 shades of VHT and some clear I came to this result. The light output is of course, a dimmer result. I am actually in the process of putting HID's on them along with a smaller light bar to make up for the lose of output.Love it ! That just ties everything in, looks really aggressive. Any percentage on the tint to get an idea of which tint it is ? How is the light output affected ?

Wet sanding the original surface followed by 3 coats of VHT with 15 minutes stand time between each coat. I then wet sanded the surface and added additional VHT when it was needed. After that I clear coated the VHT with DupliColor Clear after about 2 hours of dry time. I then wet sanded it and then polished the final clear. I found it off a YouTube video online lol. ?Holy molyMuddin, I actually used the VHT NiteShade product. Between wet sanding, 3 shades of VHT and some clear I came to this result. I've had good results with NiteShade before but nothing that glossy and good looking. Did you wet sand the clear and then polish it ? Or wetsand the VHT and then clear over that. Or potentially flow coat the clear ?
That might look nice on the right machine with the right setup behind it! I say go for it.Anyone into neochrome tint film? I think it will look great on these Kodiaks if done right. What I would do is add neochrome film first and then a layer of tint film just to dilute the neochrome a bit
