Hi everyone,

I've recently found this Skid Plate Installation guide on Youtube for the Kodiak 700 and it seems like a useful walk-through. He goes into detail on where you should mount them and what you should look out for while doing so.

I think he's mentioned that the same can be done on the Grizzly 700.

Thanks for posting up the video tutorial. It's similar to attaching a skid plate onto a bike but with a few more screws. Not sure how the general Kodiak owner will lift up the ATV and stand it on it's rear but once that hard part has been bypassed the actual installation should be simple.

I'm not quite sure how he managed to lift the Kodiak up all the way but they do make ATV lifts similar to the ones used for cars.

Maybe he has some ceiling mount for doing just this or something.

It is kinda funny how the video starts with it pointed up like that. Being such a detailed video you'd think he would address that. To help you guys out on that front, here is another youtube video.

That's a great way to put an ATV up on a stand, super easy to do.
