Hi all. New here. I made a deal on a 2018 Kodiak 700 SE only to find out it was advertised wrong and is actually a 2017. It only has 60 miles on it. Would you guys say the 2018’s have less problems than the 2017’s. (Smoking. Stalling etc). Or should I still continue on for a reduced price due to the older model year and get the 2017. Thanks in advance for the comments

If you don't mind a 2 year old machine go with the 17 if it is a good enough deal.

I have had zero problems with the engine on my 16 except for the cold start then stall but it fires right back up and runs fine. Some day I'll figure it out but it only happens when it is cold out and I don't have a heated garage to try and figure it out.

The 708 engine went from 16-18.
Early 16's had some issues, but I think they got most of them solved.
The 17 should be fine especially if it's a great deal.
I love my 18 and don't plan on getting rid of it for a very long time.
