Howdy gents, just purchased the 2016 Kodiak 700 eps in cammo, but have to wait until next weekend to pick it up.

Waiting on the Winch.

Now a question for you, I was told about the 20 hour rule at a cost of $630, do I really have to have this done?

Thanks, Ken.

That sounds kind of high for the first service, you might want to check with another dealer. Changing the fluids is pretty easy, just don't over tighten the plugs, they can strip. There is a little more to adjusting the valves, however a lot of folks do it themselves.

You can try changing the fluids yourself and just have the dealership inspect the valves.
Changing fluids yourself can't be too hard, plus the owners manual might state the details of how to do this or at least the basics.

According to the other dealer, you don't need to check valves, unless you have an issue.

So I plan on doing the fluid & filter changes.
