just buy Grizzly handlebars fr $30 bux. No risers needed.Hello, everybody... I was wondering if anyone has installed risers on their EPS or SE, yet. Is it possible to do with the headlight pod?
Thanks!
I saw that kit installed. Looks nice, evidently they angled the production guage bracket since then. Post pics of yours! Did you get the revised angled bracket?:nerd:Thanks! I actually wound up working with ROX, as they are very close, geographically, to me. I brought my SE to them, and they experimented. The kit that they came up with is now available to purchase for the Kodiak's. I have put about 300 miles on my machine, since the ROX installation, and love it!
http://roxspeedfx.com/products/yamaha-grizzly-700-550-combo-kit-2016-newer?variant=18567832327I'm on their site and I don't see the KOdiak 700 risers. Am I missing something?
Installed my Rox kit this week. Everything fits great, no additional mods required.Bump.
Do all cables and controls fit with a raiser kit?
How about for Grizz handlebars? All fits?
Thanks for the update.Installed my Rox kit this week. Everything fits great, no additional mods required.
3.5" riser I believe, plus the rise of the bars. It is slightly higher than stock, but it is not a significant difference. I didn't measure before and after, but I would estimate maybe 1/2" of height gained. Any more than that and you will likely be extending cables (brake lines for sure). There is not a lot of slack in the brake lines now. I'm not very tall (5' 8") so they work good for me, and I really wanted them for the additional width. Thanks for the update.
How much of a riser is in that Kit? 2" ?3.5"? And is the actual position of the handle grips higher than stock?
I understand that the kit comes with the risers and another handlebar that is wider and straighter than the stock. What I'd like to get is slightly higher handlebar grip position for when I stand up on the bike.
