Has anyone noticed if the base Kodiak 700 has anything besides a low fuel light in the way of a fuel gauge?
but look at how effective not including one is in getting people to spend an extra 2 grandHaven't seen anything about the base in relation to that, just that the EPS model has the fuel gauge base model buyers would want.
One of the best and easiest things they could do is make a fuel gauge standard across all models.
That was the other thing I was going to get into, the headache of having to carry a jerry can and always have the though of WHEN you'll be in desperate need of gas, especially when on the job, is enough to weed out the idea of getting the base.but look at how effective not including one is in getting people to spend an extra 2 grand![]()

Yeah that's true, just have to use what ever we have to work with. Yamaha probably put enough thought into it to go forward with what they did.ok its not that dire man, you can just eyeball it in the tank...
It's more than likely what they wanted to do, structure pricing to up sell you to the higher model, as many other companies do. Which is fair, they have to eatThe instrument panel really helped sway me to the 700 EPS.
