When I cold start my 2018 700 KodiaK, I let it idle for a bit. The engine clearly has a different quieter sound after 5 to 8 seconds. I think that idle time is vital to engine life. Anyone have any thoughts on that.
I have it on 5W40 Rotella T6 since the first change, and that seemed to be the consensus on the forum here, I think. Thanks for the input! I find the quieting after several seconds interesting.
