Hey guys! Just purchased my first Yamaha. 20’ Kodiak 700 EPS. (Former Honda guy). Seen where some people are suggesting every plug you can get too, to add dielectric grease? Do not plan on this being a primary mud toy. But it will see some mud/creeks. Is adding dielectric grease necessary or more peace of mind? Thanks!

Welcome and congrats on the Kodiak. My 2 cents would be more of a peace of mind thing if your only going to get it wet occasionally.

If you haven't removed a connector don't worry about it. But if you have pulled connectors apart that may come in contact with water then it wouldn't be a bad idea to put some onto the connections.
