Clutch Work Finished

Well got all my parts put in today, installed Slug Kit (with new gasket and nut), Purple Spring (with friction washers), 16 Gram (Dr. Pulleys overdrive weights), I did use Yamaha Ultra-matic Grease on the weights inside the Sheave (which was milled down 3mm, 2 weeks ago by Wade aka WhiskeyMike). All I can say is oh my god the are fast. Unsure on the speed, but tomorrow we will take them out and run them WOT and use the GPS to get the top speed.

And we all eagerly await your test numbers! Did you run into any installation problems?
Are you planning to go with anything else from Dr. Pulleys in the future? I heard some rhino guys were disappointed with their clutches.
Man we put those Kodiaks through **** today. They pull off the line like a beast. Top speed before any work was 62 + or - 1mph on loose sand in 2 wheel drive. Today I easily broke that 62 mph mark, but could not duplicate the same conditions, plus I was unable to get to my top speed safely where I was riding. Tomorrow I will run this test again with my GPS being recorded with my Go Pro. The power to the wheels is awesome, but I thing I am at a disadvantage with the stock 25 inch Maxxis tires. This would be a more accurate test for me with 26 inch tire (and a tire with some bit). Before an clutch work I would be lucky to get a wheelie in low with a good bump (haha), after removing 4 of the 30 Gram weights it would wheelie pretry easy. Then Wade (aka WhiskeyMike) milled down the Sheave 3mm and wow what a difference could easily wheelie in low and sometimes high gear. Now with all the parts added it can pull the front end up easily in low and high, (traction dependent). And you can tell the difference with the Dr Pulleys overdrive weights, because it fells like it continues to pull harder without hitting the rev limiter as easy. I'll post video tomorrow after I run it again.

Top speed so far is 69 mph. Been alot of work, but we'll worth it. Thanks to all for the advise and the help. Attached is a short clip of my top speed at WOT on a gravel road as I was unable to get back down to the sand barge that I did my first run on. The run begins at 11minutes, so if the first part is to boring for you jump to the speed test, I'm working on editing out the rest.
