Like the title says, is anyone running full metal skid plates ? What kind of sheet metal is it and how is it weight wise ?? I know they come with a complete composite material coverings underneath but did anyone change em' out ??

They look a lot safer and much more sturdy. They definitely look a heck of a lot better too !

I really like the thought of aftermarket skid plates. With these ricochet skid plates do you remove the plastic ones that came factory or do these bolt right over the top? Also has anyone seen UHMW skid plates for the Kodiak yet?

As far as I know all aftermarket skid plates replace the OEM plastic ones. Iron Baltic makes both aluminium and plastic HDPE skid plates and I believe that ricochet has something they call a glide plate- that is aluminium with an over-layer of UHMW but they can get expensive...
