I really like the thought of aftermarket skid plates. With these ricochet skid plates do you remove the plastic ones that came factory or do these bolt right over the top? Also has anyone seen UHMW skid plates for the Kodiak yet?

As far as I know all aftermarket skid plates replace the OEM plastic ones. Iron Baltic makes both aluminium and plastic HDPE skid plates and I believe that ricochet has something they call a glide plate- that is aluminium with an over-layer of UHMW but they can get expensive...
