I repaired wires to the starter solenoid. ( mice) The ground wire( to ecu) touched the power wire at the solenoid. Now I'm getting a code 12. I replaced starter solenoid and I have the same results with 12 code. I can jump ecu ground wire direct to ground and the code disappears and will turn over, however still no power to fuel pump. All fuses are good, battery terminals are cleaned, and checked grounds.

I feel the 12 v to negative wire of the ecu wire might of fried the ecu but I have no other codes.

Thoughts?

Also, the code scanner continues to say waiting for connection and the yellow warning is lit.
