Anyone know if the Kodiak 700 offers a 12V outlet socket? Those things often come in handy as a tap in point for accessories and what not...

It does, on the right side. Great for work lights or what ever it may be that you want to plug in. But engine has to be running

I'm thinking that it will be good to charge my cell phone. I'm sure there are some other tools that will be needing the power too though.

To note, you guys will want to carry an extra fuse JUST IN CASE, that's if there isn't already a spare fuse or fuses provided on the inside of the case of the fuse box.

Would hate to be on the job, and have a trip to the local auto parts store take up an hour or two of my time.

only if you're running something you shouldn't. blown fuses aren't common if you're within normal load...
