2001 kodiak 400 shocks

New to forum.
Looking to upgrade shocks on my 2001 Kodiak 400 4x4. Fronts are bad, and I cant seem to find a good aftermarket set. I Use it for hunting and snowplowing and it's down now , cause I snapped left one off. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I think your best bet would be a used set off eBay or an atv salvage yard..

Mite want to start with your location.

Bent toys has been excellent source for me but I live in northern Ontario Canada and they are only 40 kms up the road.

Partzilla has the front available but not the rear but hold onto your shorts when you see the price.

https://www.partzilla.com/catalog/ya...nter-yfm400fan

Other than that get the part number for the fronts and rear and keep watching Ebay and see if some pop up.

Rear part number 5GH-22210-00-00

Front part number 5GH-23350-00-00

I actually have access to a dealer that purchases wrecked ATV's, motorcycles, side by sides, and any other motorized recreational equipment. If they can't repair it for resale they dismantle it and sell the parts. If they don't have the part that you need cataloged they will allow you to go through their boxes of parts to see if you can find something that will work.

You may not need to get the Yamaha replacement shocks. Just measure the dimensions of your shocks and look for some that match those dimensions.
