Windshield

I am considering a windshield for my 2016 Kodiak EPS. Is this just a novelty or would it be something viable to have for trail riding? I don't want to spend the money on one and later decide it was just another waste of money. Thanks for all responses, Dennis

I have a friend that has a windshield for his Artic Cat and after the first ride he took it off. I asked him why and he said that the dirt and dust just comes right back at the rider instead of behind him. I would imagine that if you go slow enough or don't follow others that are kicking up dust that it might be OK but if you are going slow enough you really don't need one.

Yay for winter to block the wind. Nay for summer as dust and debris scratch them up quickly.

I am also looking for windshield replacement but doesn't find the right dealer to do it. If you help me in having some names then it will be a gret help.

Me thinks he is a troll who made enough post to be able to post a link to the windshield company that he is working for.

Yeah, I'm thinking the same only he probably owns the business. Greasy nonetheless.

I have one for my Polaris and it's awesome in the snow/winter. With it cutting the wind and the heated grips warming the hands, that's all I need. We do a lot of snow riding using Camso tracks so it's nice.
